Will I have access to the internet in my vacation rental property?
Some properties do provide access to the internet via modem or wireless router at no additional cost. Please check the online property description or ask our reservation specialist about availability at the property you have selected.
Are linens and bath towels supplied and what about paper products and soap?
All of Leisure American’s vacation rental properties are stocked with linens, bath towels and a starter supply of paper products and soap.
Will there be a washer and dryer at my vacation rental property?
All of Leisure American’s vacation rental properties have a washer and dryer either within the condo or cottage itself or on-site.
Are there housekeeping services available during my stay?
There is no daily service included although a mid-week and/or periodic housekeeping service can be scheduled for an additional charge. Please contact our office a minimum of 24 hours in advance to arrange for your service. Please note that all properties receive a pre-arrival inspection as well as a standard departure clean included in the total cost of your reservation.
Do you have cribs, high chairs, and strollers?
Leisure American properties do not come equipped with such items but check the “Concierge” tab above for suggestions.
Can I bring my pet?
We have only a few pet friendly properties so please ask your reservation specialist about availability for your travel dates. There is a weight limit plus a $150 non-refundable pet fee, per pet. Sorry no cats, birds, or other household pets allowed.
Where will I check-in, register and pick up keys?
All guests are required to check-in, register and sign for keys at the Leisure American office prior to proceeding to their vacation rental property. Leisure American’s office is located at 19050 San Carlos Blvd. Ft. Myers Beach, FL. 33931, approximately 19 miles from the Ft. Myers International Airport (RSW) or about 36 minutes (travel time will vary throughout the year).
What time is check-in?
Check-in time is anytime after 4:00PM. In many cases we can provide an earlier check-in as our housekeeping inspectors report properties that are ready for occupancy every hour on the hour. Feel free to call us as you get close for the status of your property.
What time is check-out?
While we hate to see you leave… all guests are required to check-out by returning all keys (gate cards, garage door openers, etc.) to the Leisure American office by no later than 10:00AM. Late check-outs may be granted from time to time but must be approved in advance by Leisure American. Check-outs after 12:00PM and before 3:00PM are subject to a half days rental charge. Check-outs after 3:00PM are subject to a full day’s rental charge.
What if anything does I need to bring?
All Leisure American properties have fully equipped kitchens and an adequate supply of linens and bath towels so think of this as a visit to a friend’s beach house. Perhaps you may want to bring your favorite pillow, juicer, beach chair, umbrella, etc. Upon arrival you will find plenty of shops and grocery stores nearby to shop for anything you may have forgotten.
Does Leisure American offer Trip Cancelation Insurance?
Yes and although it is not required it is highly recommended. Ask on of our reservation specialist about the cost and click here for more information.
